Victory Is Mine, And It Comes In Black!!!

I did it!!! It took me over a year, but I did it!!! I finally found the perfect jumpsuit!!!

I have been searching, ordering, trying on and returning jumpsuits since what feels like forever, and at last, this pear-shaped fat girl has won the fight against the one-pieced monster!!!

When they first started popping up all over the place, I was intimidated – I’m not gonna lie… Pear-shaped ladies probably have the toughest time with one pieces, because we tend to carry most of out weight in the hip and butt area, so finding a jumpsuit that fits well on the bottom and on top can be tricky. Then we get into a whole different set of problems when we have tummies, (which I certainly do) so it’s not hard to imagine that the task of actually finding a jumpsuit that didn’t make me look like I had a gigantic second butt (aka bumtum) was a daunting one… And trust me, it was; but I never backed down!

So here are the spoils of my victory! Check me out, lookin’ all sassy in my new ASOS Curve jumpsuit!!! Can you tell I’m excited?

Since I was feeling fancy, I paired it with lots of gold jewelry – this bold chain necklace, large hoop earrings & simple ear cuff from Forever 21, my usual bangles that I’ve acquired at various shops over time, and on my feet, I’m wearing these amazing wedges from ModDeals. Or are they heels? Either way they’re fabulous; and despite being the highest heels in my closet (so high, in fact, that I had to crouch down to fit my whole self in the mirror) they were the cheapest and are probably the most comfortable!

The whole combination is ultra chic and modern, my hubby thinks I look hot, and despite the fact that my 14 year old son says I look like I forgot to change out of my pyjamas, I am loving my new jumpsuit!

Yay me!
